Old Shows?

SO i jsut start listening thanks to an asshole i know... enough about him

tried starting from the beginning but shit theres a lot of these ... and it fills like i will never catch up.. .is there a list of best shows or should i just stick it out?

Start from the first show and make sure that you always have 5 old shows as well as the newest show on your mp3-player.

I see no reason to listen to a show twice (though I have done) but I think every show is worth listening to. It's good entertainment.

It's your duty to listen to each and every show. The best/worst shows are obviously personal taste, but there was a couple threads a few months back discussing just that.

Personally I think your best bet is to start at #1 and go from there. A lot of stuff that happens in early shows is referenced throughout the 300 odd after that.

If you think you'll have trouble listening you should quit your job/leave school and get on unemployment and enjoy the show. With about 345 hours of shows to listen to if you commit 8 hours a day, 5 days a week of listening to KATG it'll only take you 9 weeks to get through them all. How can you possibly find that daunting?

If you want to get all the in-jokes, know everything about the last 2-ish years of Keith and Chemda's lives, and think back and say, oh yeah, that WAS a year ago, then listen to all the shows.

There are virtually no bad shows. They are all great.

But it you really want to listen to this show from this point on, you MUST catch up on old shows to get the full experience. You'll kick yourself in the ass if you don't.

The thing is, I can't see why you wouldn't listen to all the old shows, considering they're free and easy to get. Seems to awkward to me to start listening at a recent show, as you're only getting a portion of the enjoyment out of it that you could be getting.

Yeeeeep. For instance if you don't listen to the early shows and Keith mentions Charlie you can't possibly realise what a fucking mess that guy is since you would have missed the Charlie and Jose interview.

Or if you didn't listen to one of Patrice's early shows you wouldn't know she loves monkeys (more than Keith loves Transformers!) or that she got arrested for stealing the bible.

If you didn't hear the butterfly story you wouldn't get to hear Andrea and Chemda almost die from excessive laughter.

Listen to 'em all!
