Danny is shady, he's not coming on the show as a prankster that's always pulling pranks, he's on there as a comedian and radio host. Him fucking with Keith and Chemda also fucks with the fans. It makes for great episodes but it's extremely disrespectful. |

Chemda touched on something I've been struggling with lately. We both grew up in--albeit different--traditional cultures. Women at my home church are still not allowed to voice opinions or vote on church matters; only the husbands and single men. Girls are to be pleasant, polite, and accomodating. Always. Do what's asked of you with a smile and a second helping.
I've dumped, reconciled, accepted, or owned most of the stuff that stuck into adulthood like anybody else; but for the life of me I cannot shake the guilt of saying 'no' and it's starting to be problematic. It's an overinflated sense of obligation to anyone and everyone. I don't know why I owe the world, but the fact remains if someone comes to me with a need, request, or offer it's immediately greater than anything I have going on. I've been seeing a lot of selfishness and resentment in my actions as of late and I think it's sprung from this overwhelming anxiety. I lack the words and the worth to feel OK declining or stopping things. How do you get there? (edit: and i still think Danny Lobell is a douche.) |

There's a basic guilt that's usually engraved in the heads of some kids when they're young, that makes them feel bad when they refuse something, or always be careful with their words to avoid hurting people's feelings.
I used to be like that. Myt mother was a scared woman who, thanks to being married with an animal who loved to scream at her 24 hours a day, always said yes. She thought that saying "no" to people, refusing favours or criticizing them would be "rude" and make her look bad. So in a way, her way to think got on me. Also probably because my father was a mean, angry man who loved to insult people and was mpore of a guy that leeched favour instead of giving them. The shame of having to deal with that got to me also. So i always said yes. Then i realized that in 99% of the cases, people are sucking the life out of you. If you always say yes,and you're always kind, dont want to interfere with others or dont want to look nagging, others will exploit you. That's how people are. 98 out 100 are leeching cunts who will do everything they can to exploit niceness. With that in mind, it's easier to say no. You got to struggle to pick out people who deserve your kindness out of the bunch, and if it's in your nature to be available and approachable, you'll hardly change that. But keeping in mind that most people deserve a no and are there to use you, helps a lot. That said, i love you sparrow. |

I wonder if he's also the one sending stuff to Keith's parents and fucking with the reporter. You know, the "shit disturber." I wouldn't put it past him to think that shit's funny in his head; it's certainly not funny to me.
