Chiming in on the Patton Oswalt issue.

It would be nice if he sued, to set a precedent. But i think there would be a possible downside: this guy is an unknown.

If Carlos Mencia, Robin Williams or Cook got sued, this would've been a kck in the balls to joke thieves. But this guy is a nobody. It would look like a local small unknown band getting sued by a rockstar for playing other people's songs without permission. It's the right thing to do, but since people love to root for the "poor underdog", Patton would risk looking like an asshole that wants to get money for a poor nobody. And Dane Cook would take his side, saying "I was accused too... (sobbing)".

Not saying its wrong, just tryin' to see both sides.

In the music world Nirvana ripped off a song by Killing Joke. They got sued and lost but Killing Joke are still regarded as assholes for the lawsuit.

Thanks for clearing that up, then most bands are stealing. I think that's a much bigger problem than comedy as it's more widespread. Someone should look into that.

I voted to keep Danny off the show. It's too bad because I think he's great on comical radio. He seems like a really funny guy. There's just something about Keith and the Girl that makes him act weird. I think Keith and Chemda have such strong personalities that he automatically goes on the defensive or goes to bits, and that's Dannys problem not Keith and Chemdas. So Keith is right, the show is about real people, not a skit show. If Danny needs to do skits, he can do it on Comical Radio. KATG is just not the forum for that.

BTW, I did hear some of his south African bit and it was pretty fucking funny.

Let me just say that I would not have neither one of those fools in my crib again after that stunt BUT...

it's not MY house. It's Keith and Chemda's house, which means I am in no danger from those thugs. I say, have him back on the air because even if he's lying it's funny to hear Keith and Chemda tear him a new one.

I was also impressed with his amazing Irish folk song and mouth trumpet skills! Way to go Danny! If it was a bit it then I appreciate all the effort that was undertaken to entertain us.
