dr drew believes all addictions are chemical- even less concrete addictions release chemicals in the brain

Certainly you can get things down to a granular level where we are all biological organism run by chemical processes which adhere to the laws of physics. My point is that chemical dependance is a condition that can have real, definable, sometimes negative physical withdrawal effects whereas other aspects of any addiction are more behavioral and emotionally based. Admittedly, my medical degree is in my other pants at the moment.

Jack Wakes Up! Another great podcast book

Like Sigler there's another great author whose book is available as a podcast and you can now buy. It's called 'Jack Wakes Up' and the author is Seth Harwood. Looking for a really fun summer read?
About crazy coked up AK-47 totin' Czechs?
KGB hitmen?
Washed up recovering heroin addict movie stars?
Hot girls? Strip Clubs?

I LOVED IT, really great story. If you like it, let me know!

Check it out here to buy it

And by pants he means rectum.

One of the most venerable dEadERisms:

"Don't live your stereotype."

e.g. Patrice; single black female, she has no fatherless babies (that she knows of, mah mah) ~ she breaks many paradigms of that demographic rather than belabor the point.

keet; sad/angry, daddy-issues, drunken clown, living, at one time maybe, Bobcat's "Shakes the Clown", an archetype if not a stereotype.

When Chemda and Patrice disagree he feels it's appropriate to scream at them to better make his point - genius. Is it just for the show or is it really him?
He has seen fit to take me to task in the LiveVid; I think he knows A) I can take it and 2) I enjoy it. But it is performance art, very entertaining.
In these scenarios which is "better", drunk or sober?

Can keet deliver the product that has become katg and not drink himself to illness and/or death? Should Chemda not insinuate herself "for the sake of the show" if she feels there's a real problem?

Again, I still haven't listened to the show =-_)

Right, but no medical degree means we're not playing doctor. Based on the other attendees, may I suggest "good cop, bad cop?" I didn't say I wasn't bringing extra assholes.

I don't know if Keith can be considered an alcoholic, but since Chemda is really, seriously concerned about his drinking, he definitly should look into it. It broke my heart a little to hear her say that she thought he was slowly killing himself with it. She doesn't seem to be the type to harp on things, and since this is still an issue, 4-5 years later, I'd say its a problem.

By Keith's reaction though, I doubt any change will take place, or if it does, it won't last long, especially with special events coming up.
