It’s true about crocs. Don’t try them on unless you are ready to wear them. I wear them as indoor shoes at home, I have “hot”ones with lava on them.
But I think they are less insane that wearing high heels and I own some. Crocs don’t kill your feed and you have a chance to run away in them.

So based on some TikTok videos I’ve seen of doordashers- they have always been able to see what the tip is. They have always been able to pick and chose orders based on the tips. I think DoorDash announced this due to complaints so customers now know. It isn’t new.

I googled and it seems like they all can have been able to see ahead of time after all (seamless, UberEats, etc.). Meanwhile their response is sometimes like I tipped in pure gold, and sometimes I'm the biggest piece of shit.

I also do not want to try on Crocs in case I love them. Question for the people that love them though, are they so comfy because they are wider? I bought wider walking shows and was wearing those for a while before having to slip on regular shoes and the narrowness of the regular shoes was not as comfortable after that.

I feel like some of the tipping insanity is because businesses in some states can use it to subsidize paying their employees if it's offered and they are using it to help increase profits by paying employees less. They can keep it up to your paycheck amount. So if you would get a $100 that week, but there was a $101 in tips that week, you get the $1 tip and the employer gets the rest because it's now part of your pay.

I can't imagine that would apply to doctors. I feel like they are doing what some scammers rely on, people needing to be polite and follow social norms to basically take advantage of people who give into that. You charge $50 for an advil pill, fuck off with asking for tips.
