Fogging for bugs

My apartment building is being fogged on Fri. Although when the exterminators inspected my apartment they said I had no bugs, since the rest of the building is being done, mine needs to be done too, or all the bugs will come in here (according to them).

They claim my computer and other electronics will be fine, but I'm not sure. Has anyone had this done? Will my stuff be ok? Any extra precautions I should take?

See if you can't find some plastic to cover your stuff with. They are right, it should be fine, but it doesn't hurt to take a little precaution. Also, make sure your electronic stuff is off when they do it.

Never had this problem. The mice eat the bugs in my apt.

If I can't get plastic would a bed sheet do?

A sheet would be better than nothing, but I'd get some plastic if I could. Cover things like your coffee maker too. Also, make sure you wash all your dishes and cups after the fogging.

Trash can liners. Big trash can liners wrapped over everything. Your cat will be fine without any added protection.

Oh, if they didn't tell you too, open all of your kitchen cabinets, including the ones under the sinks. Also for the bathrooms. And as Motown said, wash your dishes afterwards.

You're fine with a bed sheet. It's just a mist, there's no kind of moisture accumulation anywhere. I covered my computer just to be safe with a sheet or blanket of some kind.
