There were ways Charlie could've saved himself (personally I thought he could've fit through that window) but then something else would try to kill him. He had fully accepted his fate at that point and was not afraid. I only wish I could go out with that much dignity.

While I consider this a huge stretch, my husband was really good at getting me info on all those secret websites that people put up for the Dharma Initiative. This is what the people on some site are talking about today (like I said...it seems a stretch).
If you look up the name "jeremy Bentham" on wikipedia you get a description of this philosopher dude with the following info included: "Bentham was born in Spitalfields, London, into a wealthy Tory family. He was a child prodigy and was found as a toddler sitting at his father's desk reading a multi-volume history of England. He began his study of Latin at the age of three.[5] He went to Westminster School, and in 1760 his father sent him to The Queen's College, Oxford, where he took his Bachelor's degree in 1763 and his Master's degree in 1766. He trained as a lawyer and (though he never practised) was called to the bar in 1769. He became deeply frustrated with the complexity of the English legal code, which he termed the "Demon of Chicane". Among his many proposals for legal and social reform was a design for a prison building he called the Panopticon. Although it was never built, the idea had an important influence upon later generations of thinkers. Twentieth-century French philosopher Michel Foucault argued that the Panopticon was paradigmatic of a whole raft of nineteenth-century 'disciplinary' institutions." Apparently the Panopticon is this: "The Panopticon is a type of prison building designed by English philosopher Jeremy Bentham in the late eighteenth century. The concept of the design is to allow an observer to observe (-opticon) all (pan-) prisoners without the prisoners being able to tell if they are being observed or not, thus conveying a "sentiment of an invisible omniscience." In his own words, Bentham described the Panopticon as "a new mode of obtaining power of mind over mind, in a quantity hitherto without example." Anyway....just some food for thought. They used to put up a ton of info related to the show on Wiki and this is just some of what they are talking about today I guess.

Jack's hair had a lot of grey in it on the Island, but in the so-called "flashforward" his hair and beard didn't have any. Hmm.
A man that wants to commit suicide would hardly take the time to dye his hair? I didn't notice the grey before, but it was easy to see it in these eps. On purpose? Man, these two episodes really fucked up things. I'm glad they decided to go in this direction though. Stir things up a bit. <3 Charlie ![]() Is it true that the next season will air 9 months from now??? 9!? Some eyecandy ![]() ![]()

I just had a thought. Did that funeral home guy ACTUALLY refer to the deceased as a him? And have we ever heard Juliet's last name?
Also I believe that woman that Jack "saved" was Juliet's sister. |

OOhh....That's a good theory. But Juliet has been on the island, what, 2 years? And her sister had the baby while she was on the island. And the kid Jack rescued was 8 or so? So this would have to take place 6 years in the future. I don't know, it seems like it only took place a year or two after they get off the island.
