Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

It's only free until Sunday night, at which point it'll be pulled and made available to buy from iTunes, but here it is:

DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG (this is a link even though it doesn't look like one)

It's a short musical about a mad scientist named Dr. Horrible played by Neil Patrick Harris, with arch-nemesis superhero Captain Hammer played by Nathan Fillion (Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly), and love interest Penny played by Felicia Day (was on Buffy but I never saw that).

And it's by Joss Whedon. Which should be enough to make anyone watch it, but some people are dumb and won't.

I love it. I won't talk specifics in case people plan to watch it and accidentally read what I write, but the music is great (especially starting in act 2), the casting is perfect, the budget is low, and it's free to watch.

The beginning is a bit slow, but it picks up after about two minutes so stick with it.

I agree; it is awesome. Each part got better and I personally can't wait for the soundtrack.

It is a great quality web show. I hope they continue doing it at some point.

And if you like guys at all, Nathan Fillion is super yummy in it.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is really great.
It's written so well, I have to laugh at almost every second line.
Besides the songs are fantastic and the actors do an amazing job. You just have to love Nathan Fillon.

I was glad to see Felicia Day. I'd never heard of her, but she was great, and her voice was beautiful. The duet between her and Neil Patrick Harris at the beginning of act 2 was uncommonly good in that their voices blended so nicely.
