The crazy thing is they weren't programmed to ask about God, they learned to from someone who talked to Cleverbot previously.

This is going toooo far. I hope this is some kind of prank. "Would you like to have a body?" "Sure." GREAT. We're screwed. The little bastards are a little snappy too. The woman bot sounded like she had an attitude. And the God question was indeed a little freaky. 10years from now we will probably have the first premeditated, uncontrolled, death of a human by robot. Thankful that we have the H.U.A.R movement, and at least some people are not blind to what's going on.

These are just programs designed to work on algorithms and statistics with some use a of random generators.
These are barely more advanced than an instant messenger chat bot.
