It's an automated MASCAL (Mass Casualty) drill with new equipment for the transportation of the unconcious or dead from contaminated areas to de-contaminated areas. It is used for chemical, biological, radioactive, nuclear, explosive (CBRNE) drills. Since Japan is one of the few countries that has experianced a chemical attack (sarin gas in the subway) they really lead the way in this stuff. Rescuers to the subway sarin attack have had resulting health complications so automation is their answer. Plus their fucking crazy for some robots.
