This makes me sad to be into comics and videogames. I recognized far too many of those costumes. But what in the hell was that last guy supposed to be?? A college graduate superhero-thing?? I don't watch a whole lot of anime so maybe that's it. I had no idea what that girl who said Konnichiwa was supposed to be, anime something? Chemda reaaallly stole the show, I have to wonder if she was a big draw or not. She had to have crowds around her. HAD TOO!!

Unless asking Joker if he was a clown made them run away in fear. That had me in tears.

None of those girls you mentioned were paid by the con at all. And you meet them in the world, by talking to them. On a normal day they won't be wearing skintight dresses, but I can guarantee you know of at least 5 girls (that I'm sure you don't talk to) that would/do dress in a similar fashion AND have similar nerdy interests all on their own accord. Man up.

Some cons do have paid girls, but most of them are just normal average girls. Yeah, they're hot, but you CAN talk to them. I'm talking to a pink-haired girl right now.

Average or not, they're all nice. Not very intimidating to talk to.
