my roommate is a bartender at the continental... she told me, of course, it's not the bouncer's word that makes him an asshole... it's the guy who walks around in the chinese peasant hat (who i guess is the owner) dictating to him these rules.
sucks, used to be a good place when it was a music venue a la cbgb's. even when it converted to a bar i would go there sometimes. now it's just an overcrowded populoid suit-and-tie affar.
