I thought about my life and if I use someone else's privilege. Yes.I took gratefully my husband's name because it's short, easy and western. ( german)
It's Simon.

I had always to explain my old name and it sounded foreign. Everyone asked questions about it.

Now I live in a German closet with my new name. No-one asks my anything about my heritage and I love it.

So if you are annoyed with all the questions dear immigrant, just find man or woman with a nice domestic name. Preferable the person is ok, too.

I see how this works better for white immigrants.

Another great WMN!

Madeline, you are so articulate and intelligent. You were fascinating to listen to.

Chemda, you asked so many great questions. I could have listened to this episode for 3 hours.

I would for example like to know if the abusers sometimes feel guilt afterwards or if they rather think everything is fine.

And if there are women who leave the abuser immediately. What's " right" with them? How can I for example as a parent teach my kids about abuse and how not to do it/ suffer from it?
