New iPhone app is on the way
A new version of the KATG app was just submitted to Apple for review. The review process usually takes about 7-8 days.

Improvements:
  • Titles and controls on pictures are easier to read and display more consistently.
  • Videos rotate in landscape mode when screen rotation is unlocked.

Bug fixes:
  • "401" error when trying to listen to VIP episodes.
  • VIP account log out problems.
  • Headset controls weren't working correctly.
  • Malformed URLs were causing the app to crash.
For an upcoming version, we're working on adding automatic downloads.

Because nothing is happening on that Google + page... And the app is constantly shutting down on me... Is there an update for the android katg app? I was under the impression that was what the last marathon funding was part of? Sorry, if it was moving in some sort of direction I'd not say anything but it seems like this is a dead app.

Maybe I've missed the updates?

You're right that the app has stalled. I'm working on a plan to rejuvenate the project and will have more news in the next few weeks, when KATG come back from vacation.

I hadn't been using the app because of not being able to control it through the headphones (earlier version). But it was really great to use for the marathon, I was able to follow it between lessons. And I love the Hydra feed- sound and picture quality were great. Thanks and keep up the good work Michael and KATG team.
