Oh, and when I say I'm shy, that doesn't mean I yell at people or overcompensate with obnoxiousness. It means I'm uncomfortable with being center of attention, or in my own skin, really. Let's face it, shyness is a manifestation of self obsession. |

This is an open community made by open people. We all are normal, on a surface level, but we also have insecurities, issues, quirks. The difference is we tell it out loud. That's one of the reasons the KATG show and community are so beautiful, i think. Jeremy's issues are perfectly common and normal,. i had them too, in some form. In social situations i used to get drunk to get over my awkwardness. After a while, things changed, and got easier. I still ache for a relationship. I'm in a pretty long one, and i'm insecure anyway. We all have that stuff on the inside. It doesnt make us weird. I'm actually afraid of people who say that they have "no problems at all!". You really have to be numb to say that... Also, when you move, you always go through a bad phase. Same after a big event. The adrenaline rush always has a low, afterwards. Last edited by Junkenstein; 07-20-2009 at 01:38 PM. |
