I dont get one thing and i'm not saying this to start a debate: why so many people are saying that pedophiles are "Sick". They're not. The word sick implies that you can be cured. They cannot be cured. pedophilia is a form of deviant sexuality, you cant turn someone of of it. It's like when people tried to turn gay into straights, it's impossible. (and i'm saying this as an example. I'm not comparing the two.)

Sick does not necessarily come with a cure. AIDS, Cancer, Schizophrenia...the list goes on. None have cures.

I agree but aids and cancer are pathologies caused external agents. Cancer is actually less lethal nowadays, some people beat it. And there are a few example of HIV positive people who are living way longer than they would have lived.

Pedophilia is a deviant form of sexuality that in some form of other has always existed and has never been "cured". Hence, it would be a waste of time and resources to try to "prevent" it or "cure" it. It wont disappear. The only way is treating them as criminals and render them inoffensive (through execution or castration) and hunt down the ones that are still around

Even the simple possession of child pornography, indecent exposure or other crimes should be treated as harshly as the crime itself. And the legal system shoiuld stop protecting those people too.
