As fucked up as Chemda's childhood was I still felt worse for Keith. I still voted that her dad enjoyed Keith's company but I do believe he is fed up with the situation. I don't think it's only a foriegn thing though. A lot of Americans are just as fucked up with their over religious traditional bullshit that has been handed down from generation to generation.

For those of you wondering, the word Keith kept saying is "feriado." He pretty much had the pronouncement right, too. I wanna hear you roll your "r's" though, Keith. That's hot.

I know K&C are always saying that you really can't understand other people's families/parents but this episode really reiterates that point for me. I can't imagine my mom secretly hating the person I've chosen to be my mate and thinking that she knows better than I do what I need from that person (ie religion, children, etc.) but I guess I just lucked out in that department.

And I didn't vote in the poll because I do believe that Chemda probably does know her family best, but I can't wrap my head around someone hating Keith so much.

Glad they're back! I missed my KATG!

I can't count "staring" and "guilt" as a bad childhood. Every kid gets a little emotional abuse from their parents. Look at how fucked up you are and what you parents did to you, well your grandparents did worse to them.

Anytime my parents could not or would not get me something I wanted I was quickly reminded "I never told you life would be fair" and my Dad would throw in "You're out of here at 18."

Once you consider yourself an adult you lose the right to blame your parents for anything. Grow up and get over it.
