If they got bumped for some practical reason, they shouldnt complain. It's a hassle, i get it but having a kid doesnt make you special and exempt from the hassles of flying.
If they got bumped BECAUSE they had a kid, that would be a different (and quite insane) issue. The only benefit i can stand for people with kids is the fact that they get boarded before me. I used to get pissed, but i got over it. ADD: Fuck the Pope. When he was simply a cardinal he was one of the biggest SUPPORTER of the law that protected child abusing priests. He's the biggest scumbag the church has seen. Now that people are growing up and dropping catholicism, he drops a publicty line like that. And people in my country will get behind him. Disgusting. There's no grey zone. If you're a catholic that supports the church, than you're supporting pedophiles, and knowingly so. Last edited by Junkenstein; 02-17-2010 at 01:42 PM. |

HAHAHAHAH, I do add shit to my coffee namely milk and sugar but that is because growing up always drinking tea right before dinner it had to have milk and sugar. If i do not have either of these additives I am good with a thick black steaming cup o joe.

If we're yanking fatties from planes for being a nusance to other passangers, can we start yanking kids who cry? Maybe add them to the no fly list?

I was surprised to hear KATG supporting the arrest of those religious people in Haiti, who were taking the orphans and abandoned to stay in a fancy hotel over the border, given Keith's whole "there's a war going on" stance.
Why is there room to jail these guys who were blatantly there on a humanitarian mission, when there isn't enough room to jail the escaped murderers from the destroyed prison in Port Au Prince? Why is it okay to prosecute these nuts when there isn't enough police or judges or authority figures to take care of their own country, leaving police shooting underage girls in the head for taking food? The kids that still had parents were given to the group by the parents because they were starving, when kids are starving in a third world country lacking any real official capacity to process "paperwork", what do you do? I suppose the answer is, you behave like the photographers Keith tossed poo at for just watching it unfold. Where does Keith's Justice stand on knowingly watching people suffer? When some of these kids die because their parents can't feed them, who is now to blame, paperwork? At what point does humanitarianism or common sense override broken bureaucracy? In my opinion, since America is bearing the lion's share of the burden in Haiti, I believe our president should have made a private phone call ordering the release of the religious nuts or suffer a blockade to relief supplies. Maybe the poll should have been, "If you had a kid in Haiti, would you prefer to risk giving him/her to a religious group to look after even if there's a minute risk they are pedophiles/human traffickers, or risk your kid starving to death? Starve or religious group?" edited to add: And on the Kevin Smith thing, Keith butchered and spun the facts. I pretty much dislike Smith, I listened to his podcast explaining assuming I would be saying, "that's what you get, fatty". After hearing what happened, I'm on KS's side, it was clearly a mistake on the part of SWA. I believe the two ticket purchasing by Smith was mistaken for being adherence to the two seats for fattie rule, and someone tossed him because the flight was full. So now KS has to deal with the nightmare that is LAX, sucks for him. Other than that, great episode.

As for flying, why can't the airlines have a freaking seat for people to sit down and see if they fit before subjecting them to the humilation of being told they are too fat to fly that day...after they've gone through the hour+ security line check point and then waited some more. Additionally, you don't know what a person is going through. That person might be flying to bury their husband, father, lover etc. The last thing they need is to be told by the time they finally are able to get onto the airplane, and comfortable, that they can't fly. If they can't do the seat thing, then they need to specify on their website as well as everywhere you purchase the ticket, the dimensions of the seat as well as what they would consider to be their weight/width limit. To pull someone off after they are already seated is beyond ridiculous. And I have to wonder how many people that has happened to! Makes me paranoid about my flight to Philly in a few weeks... |

If one's taking the less dramatic approach, there are many families willing to adopt but, trust me, many of them are willing to do it at any cost and there's a lot of money to be made from haitian babies. Making a profit out of children's misery is always wrong. Period. |
