Apparently I forgot the jokes in my submission, not sure how I missed such an important element.

Farting in the Shower

Hey! I'm the farting in the shower guy. A couple of things about my bit. First of all, I need to defend myself against the stealing from Maria Bamford accusation. I like Maria, and I had honestly never heard her do a bit about pugs, so I googled "Maria Bamford pugs" and it turns out she does. I had never heard it before, and while it does have in common the fact that she notes that pugs make a noise and they've been bred poorly I think if you listen to both its clear that they've been arrived at independently, especially if you've ever met a pug, because they are clearly ridiculous. In any case, the only real crime about that bit was that it wasn't funny. I still think there's something there, in the notion that someone invented those things on purpose, but it needs some work. I wish I would have given myself more time, or at least put that bit at the end.

In any case, I thought the first joke was solid enough to at least get the rest of the submission played, but Keith didn't even chuckle. Chemda laughed, but not enough to make up for the saggy middle. But I would ask any of you that have a moment to give the rest of the bit a shot because my favorite jokes come right after they cut it off, and I would like to know if they work for anyone else. Thanks!

She did bits about her pugs on all her 3 cd's. She's with a pug on almost all her pics, Not exactly an unknown fact.

But stealing from Maria would be a suicidal move (i seriously think that no-one can pull off her stuff besides her, simply because she's unique), so i trust that it was coincidental. Plus, some of Maria's topics are quite generic, if you take her magically insane delivery from them.

On the other hand, that's the exact moment when i need KATG the most. So i let go the squeaky giggles of the over-silly 14 year olds that are already hyper in the early morning, and eventually have a few psychotic laughs of my own
I am, unfortunately, unemployed, and still get weird looks when i laugh out loud at KATG. Dogs.

Hey, instead of Guiness, here's a link to a Records held database. I did a search and didn't find a category for longest podcast.

Oh yeah, I know you guys are right that some people will stare, but the point I wanted to make - and maybe didn't make it directly enough - is that I think the ones who give you weird looks are joyless morons and not worth being concerned with.

My post could be summed up as: Peeps looking at you as if you're weird = retarded, boring or Amish. Peeps who don't mind you laughing = peeps like your old buddy Bucho. And your old buddy Bucho loves you, so laugh it up, and while you're at it call out, "KATG.com for all your laughing needs. Trust me, they're awesome. By the way, your fly is open."
