It's the implied surprise.

And the fact that they couldn't have pulled the crowd they got that Sunday if they'd been selling pussy and pancakes at half price, so it ws actually pretty goddamn awesome for a rainy Sunday. For any day, it would have been.

And an understatement of that magnitude is a slight, and intentionally keeping credit from where it's due. Leastwise, that's how I see it.

You lie. I preferred it the way it was before when you weren't acting like a dick to me and everyone else.

You lie. I addressed them on the forums and even implemented some of them. You have no idea what an apology is.

It's true, I'm Keith's puppet.

You lie. When do I randomly hate on your shit?

How about just owning up without any excuses?

Just stfu.

You're apology was shit. Maybe you were still being "intellectually lazy" but if you want to apologize for accusing me of trying to cheat the public you shouldn't have still openly wondered if the prize was delivered. You just say you're sorry, that's it. But you can't because you're a scumbag.

Bingo. Though I don't think it's ever possible for you to be that concise or humble. You have to try and show how amazing you are for apologizing.

It's not up to you to decide how the apology was taken.

Michael, you seem to have changed your stance on where we were, you imply you aren't happy with our current status. This is news to me, a fresh topic I would be eager to address.

If you would like to resolve this, I still remain happy to participate. We can clear up our misconceptions, our miscommunications, the gross errors in interpretations fueling most of this hate. I will be humble and take it on the chin where I deserve it, and in public spectacle if that's what you want.

But rebutting your deflective points on the previous topic with contrary evidence will only perpetuate the problem, making myself look bad, making you look bad, and making Keith look bad. In the past, calling me a liar and throwing out individual points was a sure fire way to get an entertaining response from me, but as I said, I'm just not doing that anymore.

So start a thread if you want it public, or email me if you want it private. Or suggest the appropriate venue that best suits you. Just remember it's a two way street, as you said, I can't force you to be receptive to an apology.

It should be called the Mexican maid diet.

Also, Chemda talking about venues, I had a recent experience down in Sydney.

Scott Sigler was doing his book tour, which is usually a gathering at a book store, he reads from one of his books, answers questions and shakes hands. He's an immensely cool guy that really knows how to connect with his fans.

Anyway, after that, it's pub crawl time.

It was like 8pm on a Tuesday night, maybe Thursday... regardless, a normally slow night for any bar. We wandered in, at least 30 strong, all buying drinks and food. So many of us that the bar tender had to fetch someone else to help tend the large group of Aussies looking for beers.

We are barely getting started on the night when they tell us they are closing the bar at 9pm!

While I get closing down early on a slow night, what bar owner sees a full bar on an off night and kicks everyone out at 9 freaking pm?!?!

We wandered up the street to a second venue, and they kick us out to close at 11pm!

Anyway, it's crazy to me, not having a bit more fluidity to a situation when you are trying to make money for your business. When someone gives me a gift like that, I just can't see myself ever closing the door on their face because it's after my bedtime.
