as far as the wrestling thing goes. watch the refs, they coordinate the momentom swings, based on crowd reaction. the ref will touch the wrestler whom will gain momentom. the refs play a large role in the match, almost like a director.
the whole match is not choreograped from start to finish, most of the sets of moves are rehearsed (practiced). they do improv, minus the funny. it's funny to catch the wrestlers plotting out the next set of moves. in an old nwa starcade event the camera amd mic guy catches kevin (the task master) sullivan telling his opponent to reverse after an irish wipe (throwing someone into the ropes). good stuff. Both of my parents leave the same kind of vague, "it's really important" voicemail messages. I never know if I'm calling back to hear that someone is deathly ill or has died, some kind of new bodily fluid was identified, or if they had rice as a side for dinner last night.

Message from Mom
My mom will leave a voice mail saying something like "Michael! It's Mom! Call me as soon as you get this!!".
Then when I call her it's like "hey, do you want to come over for dinner?" She does this to the whole family. Now we don't call back as quickly. She has cried wolf too many times. Hope she doesn't fall and break her hip. She may lay there for a while waiting for us to call her back. |

When Keith started reading that story about social security numbers and identity theft, I really thought he was reading an advertisement from a new sponsor. I was just waiting for them to jump into a bit about "don't let that happen to you...". It just seemed like a really random (abnormally random) story. Was it just me?

Hearing Keith talk about how he was reading but not remembering anything reminds me of reading our Year 12 (final year of high school) book, Tess of the D'urbervilles by Thomas Hardy - another one of these "classics"
I read a chapter then referred to the course guide /reading questions that we had to answer each chapter. First question after one chapter was "After Tess is raped....." etc - um, excuse me? What rape? These old books are written in such a way that you can read a chapter and yet still somehow miss the occurrence of a rape? From then on, I just read the study notes and didnt bother with the book itself. I won the prize for English in my year. |

If that article on social security numbers is right, then the company I work for is hosting retirement accounts for a fuck ton of people with fake social security numbers. I searched our system while listening and found hundreds of numbers with the two middle digits being 00. Like xxx-00-xxxx. If that's the 2 middle numbers the article is talking about, that's a little scary.

According to this government web site, 00 is not a valid group number.
