HIV = Human Immunodeficiency Virus

Once the human immune system is low enough, the person is said to have AIDS (Acquired ImmunoDeficiency Syndrome).

For monkeys, a similar virus is SIV (Simian Immunodeficiency Virus), but the SIV is actually not very harmful for monkeys.

So yeah, bedbugs can't "get AIDS" because HIV affects only humans. The study was probably conducted to see if bedbugs can spread the disease by feeding on an HIV positive person, then later feeding on a HIV negative person, and also if there was some weird way the virus could persist from a parent bedbug to its offspring.

A thread was started about naming the CD shortly after it was recorded here in Ottawa.

You can see where typicallistner came up with Pro-Joyce...

and despite the poll I have picked Jazzy - it fits with a joke in the set.

although Pro-Joyce fits well with the dead babies stuff...

I enjoyed hearing Jesse discuss the name on Lobells radio show. Funny shit. Only time will tell.

Why would anyone who has never heard of him buy an album called Jazzy? It's an in joke that most people won't get. I sent him the title "Grammatically Correct" because he's always correcting people, and he thinks "Jazzy" is better because someone once thought he said that was his name?
