I think people look young, therefore, I am an unreasonable douche. Yep, makes sense.

I'm done shitting up this thread, though.

I think that's a problem you have in age perception.

Cera was a kid back in the Arrested Development days, he looks his age now.

I really liked Kick-Ass but my husband hated it. He and Keith are similar in that I can never tell if they'll like a movie. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what they do or don't like.

I liked Kick Ass, but I thought they wussed out in changing Hit Girl's history. The truth about her origin was just another facet of the whole comic book genre being satirized.

I loved Kick-Ass and Scott Pilgrim but I also like graphic novels and comic books. Keith disliking stuff doesn't really offend or persuade me but I just love the humor he brings to his analysis of movies.

Yeah nick cage sucks...

3/4ths of the time

For every 3 shitty movies hes in we get him in an amazing role that makes us think "oh shit, this guy is awesome now"

Leaving Las Vegas
Raising Arazona
(apparently these are 2 of his best movies, but I haven't seen them)

Con Air
Faceoff
The Rock
All great fun movies (even if they are stupid once you examine the plot for more then 2 minutes) and all 3 right in a row after the Las Vegas movie everyone seems to love.

The National Treasure movies are retarded, but they are fun enough if you need to see a family friendly movie. (like your with a younger sibling, kid, or grandparents or something) and are better then 90% of the schlock that gets a PG rating.

As for him being good in movies I have seen,
Lord of War (His best work in my opinion)
Adaptation
and of course KICK-ASS

Of course he was crazy in that movie, he was supposed to be, while not playing a direct translation of Big Daddy from the comic he brought an awesome brand of crazy Adam west parody that made it all the better.

I forgot how to embed youtube...

I honestly did not intend for this post to be a defense case for Nick Cage, I think he is as much a drunk goof-fuck as everyone else does, I'm just saying even nut-bars can make awesome movies.

One more thing, I think the reason that nerds get so defensive about our movies is that they always do so bad at the box office and we want more but since they keep failing its only a matter of time to they loose all pull they have entirely.

Saw this earlier today and it made me sad how accurately it sums everything up...

Our school was let out for 9/11 (we lived ~25 minutes from the city), so my friend and I played lacrosse outside. Yeah, the weather was pretty nice.
