I'm not sure what an appropriate action would be, I'm just saying if you say it, I think it is not outrageous to own up to what you say. I don't think the woman in the case is going to win any sort of defamation suit but I'm glad at least the person or persons who were saying those things are known to be responsible for what they say. Does that make sense?

It makes sense, but this argument that its somehow impossible to go unpunished and/or anonymous when being insulting outside of the internet is unfounded. You are in favor of people taking responsibility for themselves, but are limiting yourself to thinking this is only a problem on the internet.

Did you like the Barbershop quartet song 'cause it was honest talent? There were no signs of any auto-tune.

It's fair to not like some types of music but still appreciate it because it took some real talent.
