But everyone, boys and girls, did it on their own choice, knew that they could win or loose on similar terms, yet decided to do it anyway. Because they are confident in their own looks or they just needed the boost of confidence that they deserve.

No one in the contest was exploited. And no you're not a jagoff for thinking this, you're mostly misinterpreting the ideas behind the contest and behind exploitation.

The Hottest Girl contest is a joyous feast of girls showing their own sexiness, confidence and people appreciating it, boosting it up with competition (which is normal and healthy). There's nothing wrong or exploitative in that. No argument about it.

I'm not saying people were being exploited. Just asking a guy about his opinion using the wording he used.

Do not automatically assume what my viewpoint is. I personally do not want pictures of me completely naked on the internet because the internet is forever is all. I applaud all the women on the thread who posted more its their choice. I happen to think they are kickass for being brave enough to do that. I think showing of the body is beautiful and should be admired not out down under some fauxpatriotic banner. I sincerely dont appreciate you applauding me for something I dont think and then carrying on "our" fucking argument for several pages of this thread thus upsetting people I rather like. Stop it.

I'm always amazed when people continue relationships with parents who are clearly nuts or scum. Maybe it's just because I feel so much happier since I cut my mom lose, but dude. I guess everybody has to decide for themselves what to do. I have friends who are still in contact with parents that molested them. I was only beat and I hated that man 'til he died. I can't imagine calling up a childhood abuser just to chat, much less having a family dinner with the shit.
