Reality tv is called rality tv because "TV where we don't have to pay real actors a lot of money" isn't quite as catchy.

If you want to know if "Reality" TV is scripted just watch Gene Simmons Family Jewels. NOTHING on that show is natural and everything is a staged event.

Not all Reality TV is that bad but they are all set up to some extend or another. The better ones just put a specific group of personalities into a relatively natural situation but the worse create outrageous sitcom situations and encourage their cast to act up to make it more outrageous.

The entire libsyn website is down.
