I'm getting turned off by the phone call idea too. Hate hanging up on every other call. Don't know how else to do it.

Keith, I used to do a comedy based netshow before joining on with free talk live.

Depending on how much money you want to spend (we tried to do things as inexpensively as possible)

Then you can use your landline to take calls.

If you wanted to start a fundraiser... and do better phones than that...

Also, with something like that (either my or spaceboys idea) you might be able to put in an extension cable which could be plugged in, or unplugged from the line in jack on your soundcard. Then you could have someone "screen" calls.

Of course, you'd have to train them to be ruthless to your standards...

I thought it was just a mindless ranting and raving of some quirky individuals.
Standards requires quality assurance. Are we, the listeners, getting that kind of treatment?

While an hour of Keith yelling "Yellow" followed by some incoherent noise followed by "How fat are you?" is pretty hilarious, I'd be willing to forego this comic treat until the phone in technology is sorted out.
