1285: Calling Dr. Robinson

"You once said, 'Haw, it's the Democrats' turn. It's their time.' Well, how did - how'd you get there? You like that? You like that change? The elephant change? Now, stick this!"

Google actually added a way to turn off conversation view (so your emails just display like they do everywhere else):

Go to top right and click Settings, you'll be brought to the Settings > General Tab. You should see "Conversation View" as an option, simply click "Conversation view off" then scroll down and click Save. Your emails will no longer be grouped, you'll just see them listed in order they were received, like everywhere else.

Just on the Joseph Fritzl thing, he was born on April 9, 1935 in Amstetten, Austria.

Not Australia, however in saying that its not really a pass for us.

There was a similiar guy discovered 6 months after the Joseph Fritzl case in victoria, Australia. If I remember correctly, this guy had imprisoned his daughter for 30 years and fathered 3 surviving kids or something, no one heard about it cause the media suppressed the news release internationally. He's been jailed for 22 years and 5 months. I don't know why its not forever, to quote Keith, 'I don't think we're not gonna go to mars because this guy isnt around'

This Fritzl guy was born in Austria and fucked his kids in Austria.

Keith tends to mix up Austria and Australia when he is reading an article on air about either of them. He definitely knows the difference between them but when I hear him talking about Australia I will just substitute it for Austria and vice versa.

John F O'Donnell is awesome and his Live From Outer Space albums are an experience. He can take that any way he likes but it's a positive comment. Hopefully that saves one of the two trips to the psych next year.

Man jailed for 22 years abusing daughter | Perth Now

I remember that case. The neighbors had an inkling that something was going on but didn't alert the authorities because it "wasn't their business."

I say yahoo front page is better than google any day. I like all the junk because then I can read an article if I want or just go straight to search.

keith predicts comic deaths...

I used to see a lot of live comedy...

In 1993, I went to see Bill Hicks at Cap City Comedy here in Austin. It was the second time I saw him live, I dragged a bunch of my friends to the show, and he was great. After the show he came over to our group in the lobby and talked with us for 5 minutes. Just great. He won over a lot of new fans that night.

Within 6 months he was dead.

Hit me hard. I didn't give up on comedy, but something was missing for a while. Then I got married, had kids, and 15 years go by, and I hadn't stepped in a comedy club.

I stumble on to KATG, and Jesse Joyce. Joyce is a great guest. I find out that he's coming to town.

I drag a friend to Cap City Comedy to see Jesse, and he's good. I'd heard most of the material before, but my friend was really enjoying it.

He's off, and I'm about to bail to see if I can hang with Jesse in the lobby, but my friend wants to see the headliner, Greg Geraldo.

Wow... I'd liked Jesse's set, but Geraldo reminded me what it means to be a headliner. He was in charge, and took the audience for a wild ride. Amazing.

I left that show really excited, talked about it for a week.

Greg Geraldo, dead within 6 months.

Of course, it's silly to think that when I see a headliner at Cap City that they're dead within a year... but...

I think I'll be getting most of my comedy through KATG and youTube for a while.

National Break-Up Season, the period between the December holidays and Valentine's Day when people are more than twice as likely to think about breaking up than at any other time of the year.
