Keith Olbermann does NOT do a news show, he does an opinion show. Nobody tunes in to him expecting to see the days news presented in an unbiased way. Olbermann even does 'special comments' all of the time, which are PURELY his opinion. I think it's perfectly clear, and i think most people understand that.

He was suspended for violating NBC rules, that are inconsistently applied, and that apparently most people had no knowledge of. If he broke the rules and they decided to suspend him, fine. But it's not ethically wrong, because he is a clear liberal and doesn't pretend otherwise, and he has no responsiblity to be unbiased, at all.

On the other hand, Fox NEWS and Sean Hannity have given thousands to republicans, and have used the network to raise money for campaigns. But they don't have a network rule about it.
