In my town, there is a brother/sister combo in their late '30s, early '40s whose parents named them Freakus Poleekus (the boy), and Groovy Nipples (the girl). No lie. I also have a friend, Marigold, who came from a family of all plant-names (Saffron, Pollen, California Poppy, Gladiola), and after all of those kids, the mom broke it off with the dad and only had romantic relations with women. Now my friend, Marigold, has a baby boy named Huckleberry.

I refrained from voting because I'm not sure what I really think and I don't want to mess-up the scientificness of Keith's poll. I really don’t think that most people are really stupid per-se. I do think that people lack the ability to think critically or problem solve. Which for the most part, are learned abilities. To me, most people who have those abilities (problem solving and critical thinking) are usually awestruck at the level of stupidity in the common man. I have met tons of people whose minds are not so analytical, but they seem to have their everyday lives together. Although the poll question already implies that you don’t have to have to be smart to have your shit together.

The whole "eating on the street, in the park, on the train" thing is one of the first things I noticed about NYC. You guys eat everywhere! People don't do that here, but I get it, if you're always on-the-go. I don't think I could eat on the subway though. *shudder* Fucking trains still skeeve me out.

V was awful from day one. I was waiting for that to get axed. Most of the others I'd never even heard of!

I got through three episodes of The Chicago Code and I watch pretty much every single crime drama on television. I thought it was extremely boring. Human Target was too silly for me, like Burn Notice. And I agree with your assessment of V. It was shit.
