There are people who feel like they are neither one nor the other gender. They feel like they are a third gender, or they feel like they are parts of both, to the point where they don't want to define themselves as one or the other.
They may be called:
●Intersex (which means a person actually has both male and female physiological or chromosomal characteristics)
●Third gender
●Neutrois
●Genderqueer (which acts as an umbrella term for all gender identities outside the gender binary of male/female.)

Genderqueer populations constitute a very small percentage of people in the modern western world. It was much more common in Native American cultures, and is much more common in India and other countries in Southern Asia. Google any of the above terms if you're interested in learning more.
