No, of course not. I was just commenting about the people who live with their parents comment. Obviously I know you don't mean every single person in the world.

My last day in Vancouver was the day Canada played USA for the gold in hockey. I thought I was going to get to watch it and then go to Seattle like a normal person when Blu looked at me with a horrified expression and said, "You have to get out of here. Now."
Canada won and nothing happened, but it was a tense few hours. At least now I know I wasn't rushing around for no reason, which is what it felt like then. |

I think the people who were going to set cars on fire were going to do that whether or not Vancouver won. Because, as Ray said, you have to have that equipment with you and ready to use. With alcohol in the mix, no question they would've done it either way. You were wise to rush out.

I was worried about my sister who watched the Game live on screen outside on King George St in Vancouver. I texted her right away when I saw the riots on the news. She said she was safe and got away when people started throwing shit.

I think I’d get an A, however Keith can be a princess at times so I’d pick a B to be safe
Edited to add: Seriously though, Keith would give me an A because he is the coolest guy in the whole world. I mean that. Sorry to get so serious all of a sudden, but he's pretty much perfect. Last edited by Keith; 06-17-2011 at 01:51 PM. Reason: I had more to say |

The irony of course is that kids are better at dealing with these issues than adults are. Let's listen to Zach Wahls testify before the Iowa legislature last week: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/zach-wa...ry?id=12832200 Of course the bigots passed the anti-gay amendment anyway, but his speech was nice. |
