Okay, I admit I couldn't get through all three books because I found them extremely tedious to read, but I do recall that several years pass after Bilbo leaves the ring with Frodo and when Gandalf comes back after researching what the ring is. I remember this fucking boring subplot where Bilbo's relatives are fighting Frodo's inheritance of Bag End.

Wink

Deaderest, what they are doing now with CM Punk is pretty anti corporate. The last few weeks have been great and less cartoony then youd think.

After years of Joker, Dr. Doom, and even Mr. Burns, Voldemort just didnt work for me as a compelling villain. I heard some comedian, and I honestly do not remember who, doing a joke about how Voldemort couldnt even kill a baby. Not a big Sauron fan as hes just a Maguffin, just an example of someone who was built up so much. And that the evil group is called Slytherin (sp) is lame, and thos is coming from a guy who has read the sentence "How could you betray us Sinestro?!" Multiple times.

Man I just want to say that metaphor you drew with the Food Network shows and WWE was so fucking good I almost want to watch both of them just so I can understand the depth to which you went. LOL

I always enjoy your guest spots on the show. I've never been into wrestling but I try not to diss people who are into it because I know I have many nerdy pleasures that are equally as prone to being picked on.

I watched the soap opera "Passions" pretty much from start to finish, there is no way I'm passing judgement on anyone who likes wrestling

And I can't believe I just admited that to this group of people. It was for the laughs, people...and the hot latino bodies...

The main difference between Passions and wrestling is that the midgets are treated better than Passions.

true, in wrestling, they never sent the midget to hell...but the Scissor Sisters never performed during Wrestlmania...so Passions wins in my book. And did I mention the hot latin men?

When Bilbo finds the ring he is pretty young, and when he gives it to Frodo he is 111. Then Frodo takes quite a while to get it to the elves, then it takes I think a year or so to get it to the white city. By the time the hobbits return to the Shire, I think at least 3 or 4 years have passed.

But, yes, they already knew what was up with Sauron and how to defeat him. With Voldemort, only Dumbledore knew how to kill him and that was just a very well educated guess.

"Mike Lawrence, I could kiss you."

I think a lot of what makes it so much fun hearing that stuff even though I don't know shit about WWE or the Food Network either is hearing Chemda respond to Mike with such delight.

She does the same thing sometimes with Pat Dixon and Adam Brown Went To Town Big Fat Clown Upside Down, where there are moments where she's almost looking at them in wonder and expressing how engrossed in and impressed with and entertained by their minds she is. I love it because I am too.
