i think one of the reasons for my liking of keith on a human level is how much i recognize myself when he talks about him being tough on himself about his own childhood and refuse to complain about it.

i still feel digsusted at myself whenever i catch me complaining about my faimily. and i remember having a hard time with therapy cause i still think anything that isnt down right torture isnt real abuse.

i had to be talked into the idea of mental abuse, and it still sounds weird and disrespectful towards victim of real abuse.

Mental abuse remains a difficult thing to quantify because mostly, people remain ignorant of it. But make no mistake - Mental Abuse is just as real as physical, sexual or verbal abuse. It's just that it's execution is not as tangible. It's effects though, are devastating.
