The technology for the next picture quality wave has probably existed for years already, but they're still milking the current market. Just like they did with color tube, then projection, then DVDs, then plasma and LCD, then BluRay.

I thought you had to be a cunty brat to be a diva, I guess now all it takes is having a particular preference about something. I bought my HDTV and i want shows to be HD and for things to work properly, not magyver with it until something works that's "Acceptable". And why not? I paid to have it. Why watch TV like the unwashed masses?

I rarely watch bootlegs anymore but when I did I didn't bother with hand held cameras or any nonsense where you could here outside noise. There are high quality bootleg screeners out there. I could not watch a movie that I felt was not near the finished product.

I'm on board with Keith. Two years ago I made a new years resolution to never watch anything but HD quality films and shows. It is BluRay rip or bust. The only resolution I've followed through with.

I'm with Keith in that I always wait until its out on DVD before I'll download it. It's only recently though that internet data caps here have gone up enough that I can download proper high def versions.

Orangemachine, are you against the First Amendment? I think it's unfair to attack the Koran burners. I agree they are lunatics, but they have the same rights as any of us. News flash: Bibles are burned daily. American flags are burned daily.
I don't support the Koran, the bible, or our country in any way. But I do support fundamental freedoms.
