I'm reminded of the episode in which Keith and Chemda would not drop the topic of Tom McCaffrey temporarily living with his father in NYC before moving to LA. They obsessed over the concept, and, frankly, were flat-out rude to the guest. But Keith McNally got a total pass and was even asked if HE resented HIS PARENTS for continually giving him money. Night and day.

Yeah, no kidding. Maybe I did my time, and now I get to live like an old retired man. I live in my own little world in the retirement home know as Canada, so there's no real point arguing about my little ways. Or maybe Keith & Chemda just had their minds on launching VIP and going to DC, so they weren't invested in ballbusting. Either way, I liked it!

I'd only have an issue with McNally's lifestyle if he was living off the government tit, which through taxes is OUR money (well Canadian taxpayer's money). If his parents wanna support him, that's their choice, so good for him. Altho if $12k is a drop in the bucket, they oughta bump that up to $30k so he can live a bit more middle classy.

I think the idea is that I'll find my own path eventually, I don't think they wanna support me. It's only because I'm basically responsible with money that they do this at all, and they don't want me to have to settle on a life I don't want just because I've got to pay the bills. This was supposed to give me the luxury of being able to choose my own path. But since I don't mind being kinda poor, it's easy to get caught in this holding pattern and not move toward anything distinct.

No worries about the hijack Flux, I'm just surprised more people aren't hurling the random insults my way. I thought for sure this would be fodder for people to decide that I'm the lamest piece of shit in the world.
