We had coaches that used to have the "fire & brimstone" speech's but really after a while its water off a ducks back...these days you nearly have to have a degree in psychology to work out what motivates the individual...and don't forget if you piss off the coach he can just dump you for someone else...now that's great motivation!

Keith is right that the coach is a dumbass to even say that after the tape came out that if the parents knew what really is going on in the locker room that the players would be in trouble every day. He deserves to be fired.

Around the time of high school is when you start seeing this turn into a boot camp like atmosphere. As long as you don't put your hands on them, then there is no problem.

Love that this show always talks about things most of us wouldn't really say out loud... like Chemda thinking about her parents passing away. I've done that too and felt so terrible for it. I'd weigh how I'd feel about either one passing away first and how things would be after that. Not that I wish either of them would go soon. Thanks for making me feel a little less like a freak once again.

As a Mom, I say Keith is right. I do not want anyone talking to my kids that way.

I cant argue with Chemda either because if grown adults are saying they were inspired by such hard speak by their coaches, who am I to argue.
