We get the extra days off in Australia too.

When we were in Scotland the money thing confused us as well. We were warned when we were leaving that even though it could be used in London that some people wouldn't accept it because they would think it was counterfeit. Sure enough, whenever we went to pay for something with another different looking note, the person would hold it up to the light and examine it before shrugging and taking it because they didn't know either.

Our colourfull plastic monopoly looking money at least makes it easy for everyone.
