I was a little weirded out when Jessie's impression of Canadians sounded confused. Not sure what he was getting at there.

But then about 5 minutes later he said the word "Montreal" with his accent and I chuckled. So I won't hold a grudge

And yet one more thing...the brokers are probably saying they can sell ice to an eskimo and then not getting back to you because their main job is to get as many people in the door as possible. And there are probably more people that say "yes I want an apartment" and don't follow through than mature adults that say "yes I want an apartment" and actually have their shit together. So my theory is that they treat everyone like the former person and if you happen to be the latter, you get frustrated.

As in any business where customer service is important, about 80% of the professionals are mediocre and give the 20% that are good at their job a bad name. It is also why personal referrals are so valuable.

What Jesse was talking about on the show was a conversation I've heard a number of times before and I never thought anything of it.

Bill Cosby did a bit once where he examined the speech of Americans in different parts of the country - Texans as opposed to Alabamans as opposed to New Englanders etc etc. It was bloody funny...
