I did indeed get it in. The deed was done. All parties seemed satisfied.

As for mocking, I wasn't really mocking, more saying that not all women have huge expectations on Valentine's Day. We did end up leaving an hour early from work and had a couple of drinks and appetizers before heading home. It was nice to just spend some time together. And it was nice to get in bed and spend some time together there too.
