I've found God can speak to you in two ways. One: when you are young and foolish, or two: when you are old and know better, but have simply taken too much LSD or psychedelic mushrooms. Either way, it's fun to pretend.

Currently, I can't decide what is a greater God: KatG or Game of Thrones. KatG week is coming, but then so is winter... These are very exciting times to be alive, indeed.

One of my best and most cherished teen friendships essentially ended as far as I was concerned when he told me one day that God had spoken to him. I gave him every opportunity to phrase it in other terms - I was willing to accept that he had had a life changing experience, that something amazing and revolutionary had happened to him, whatever, but he kept insisting that the homeless guy who told him to stay with the idiot girl he was dating was actually God. That's when I learned that drugs and alcohol actually had a downside.

That 911 audio was jaw-droppingly horrific. I listened to this episode at work and lost track of the number of times people asked me what was wrong as I kept audibly gasping in shock. Can you post the link to the audio by itself?
