I have my memories too. Getting a Little Huggie in my lunch bag was a real treat. I was doing those first holy communion classes, so I got afforded that luxury. The foil wrapping cut my hands all up and I bled everywhere. EVERYWHERE!
Zvi just seemed like he remembered it all as if he was a teenager at the time. |

I heard from weirdos that said they remembered things before 5 years old. Not 5th grade, but 5 years old. They have to be lying, right?
By lying, of course, I mean very confused. |

prostitution just feels slimy and blocks personal development, for example, I'm a permavirgin because i'm clingy 400 pound man child. I have my own shit to work on before I can fuck. I feel like they will just end up getting people like me who have issues and over escape into this vice. Most people cant control them selves and they will want more and more extreme stuff to get off eventually going to the underground.

Prostitution (And other tings)
I agree with Chemda on the prostitution thing - It's legal in some states here in Australia and on the whole, seems to run fairly well. I did an interview with a friend of mine who used to be a sex worker and she agrees it's much preferable to doing street work. The girls are constantly monitored and surrounded by security so there's a much lower risk of sexual - or other kinds of violence.
The fact is, Keith's right that women are being exploited. I think the whole business is rather slimy and you'd never catch me going to a brothel - but I do rest easier knowing that maybe some girl on the street doesn't get raped because there was a legal way for that man to exercise his impulses. It sucks, but since it's going to occur anyway, it's got to be sanctioned, regulated and monitored. Only way around it. That being said, my city, Melbourne, has a city bike program that seems to have worked out fine. Maybe Australian's are just nicer all round? PS: So glad I paused the show and watched that Game of Thrones episode first. Holy shit. |

Zvi was a great guest. When I heard "the intern" was going to be the guest, I resigned myself to what was sure to be a shit episode.
How wrong I was. Zvi told his tale well. He was engaging, and his melodious voice lent itself well to his tale of boyhood Irish/Jewish/Giant woe. I like his appreciation of his experiences, and I now understand why all Jews are in therapy. Fuck me, 8 hrs a day in grade school. Poor bastards. Just a tip for any of our younger listeners who are contemplating pulling Zvi's kitchen knife stunt: ![]() Looking forward to hearing from him again.

Keith's exploitation point is important because a lot of the time, we aren't talking about adult women. We're talking about 12 and 13 year old girls (and boys) and other teens who are being pimped out, hooked on drugs, etc. These kids are runaways and they get scooped up by predators who know they can exploit them.
IMO, decriminalization would be the way to go rather than legalization. One reason prostitutes don't seek help when they are being abused is because they'll be thrown in jail for solicitation. But decriminalization would not make the abuse and exploitation go away -- we would still need to go after people who force others into prostitution.

Then that's a different crime. Kidnapping, pedo, etc. Not prostitution. It's like saying "outlaw all waiters because some restaurants employ underage, underpaid staff". And come back to the Game of Thrones thread. Fuck the poofs who fear the written word. |
