Rather than wiki astrology and respout what other people wrote, I'll try to come up with an original thought.
Given that everything in our body is made up of matter that is affected by gravity, it is possible that the slight differences in planetary alignments and the phase of the moon could affect something as light as hydrogen on a microscopic scale. Maybe with the Cancer line up and a half moon, it pulls them a couple of nanometres in one direction, while the Taurus line up and a new moon pull them in a slightly different direction. If there is a tiny influence that affects hydrogen bonds, then during conception when the DNA is getting matched up, maybe a few strands that affect personality tend to line up a certain way, causing many people conceived at that time (and so born around the same time) to have similar personality traits. People who gestate for shorter or longer periods could fall outside of the "sign" they'd have been born under and skew any data based on birth dates. Astrology would then be a mystic interpretation of physics and observation of personality types based on birth dates. You could gather up a group that feels they do not fit their sign type, and see if they were born 9 months after conception, or were late/early enough to have pushed them to a different sign. For Aries for example - Personality traits: Direct, energetic, independent, assertive, athletic, self-assured, restless, brave, enterprising, creative, competitive, fearless. Can also be: Impatient, aggressive, temperamental, arrogant, extreme. In a partnership: Bold, passionate, impulsive, sexual, exuberant, jealous, temperamental. Likes: Being active, being adventuresome, new ideas, being first, excitement, competition, being appreciated, being noticed, winning, achieving. Dislikes: Boredom, routines, criticism, feeling repressed, feeling ignored, losing, restrictions. Substitute Aries for any other sign. Try yours. Do you identify with most if not all of those in some way? |

I think when I respond to some of your goofiness it makes it sound like I'm believing in Astrology per se. However, A: Where did you take this from, and B: Why not give us TWO astrological signs?
God lovers... I tell ya... "I can just tell whoever is in charge of it all is good. I can just TELL." |
