I think the comics should be paid in Bitcoins.
Is this a rape joke? Guy takes out his high-school yearbook, fucked her, fucked her, raped her, fucked her, fucked her, oral only, fucked her, fucked her, blew him. I think Phil Robertson went a overboard in the interview, but they did ask him what sin was. Is he related to Pat Robertson? I think students should get credit for not getting gunned down. |

I'm too used to the pace of hockey to like watching most other sports. Except when there's tough strategy involved and we get to drink while playing. It's why I love curling.
I understand what Keith is saying about padding and I agree with him. However, football is so boring to me because of how short the plays are. I quickly lose interest, even when I watch a game live. I also hate when absolutely nothing happens and the game takes forever, like in soccer (even though I play it, watching it is completely different...boring...and I can't stand the fake crying ). |

I don't understand how ANYONE could say games, movies, etc make you do ANYTHING. They don't. You choose your actions and ultimately that is your own responsibility. Nutbars are the problem. Impressionable people? Maybe. To some extent...But the "media" violence I would say did not act as the catalyst, only the creativity for lack of a better word for said violent act.
But you are right Keith to even suggest that they can't effect you is willfully ignorant. There is a reason genres are called these names...Horror: they scare. Drama: they are intended to tell dramatic stories that may make you cry. Romance: Yadda yadda yadda and so on. This is the goal of these is to get to you in some way. To inform or touch something in you. To have fun and enjoy them. Whatever emotion they play on. Even if it is simple satisfaction the bad guy got it in the end. Great example. Jaws. Look at what happened to people. They were scared to go swimming. Supersize me. The list goes on. Movies are designed to tell a story and in many cases, effect people.

Sparrow:...Brings up her point? What point?! Are we naht suckin' ya cahk hahd enough, Sue?!? Keith: Oh, you... Last edited by JSZilla; 12-20-2013 at 08:41 AM. |

But count yourself lucky, I don't know what 'not for nothing' means either (most likely because it doesn't mean anything) and know plenty of people who say it. |
