Watching UFC 186 you can see that Meisha learned her lesson. Truth be told, she should have tapped, (when Ronda had her in an arm bar) but stupidly and arrogantly persisted - which forced Ronda to take it to the next level.

I'm a Bob Kelly fan, but his whole 'my kid's gonna be evolved / not do football / DO MMA horseshit just reeks of phony New Age type thinking. Both are dangerous sports. Both brutal.

Also: There's an argument that American Football players helmets actually give players false sense of safety. They hit harder and with their head. A thing they might not do without.

Many heads in MMA think the fingerless gloves are no bueno as the exposed fingers can, (and do) scratch eyes. So, both sports could be safer...you could argue....who gives a shit?
What I've learned from KATG is that Midwest and Southern folks seem like they're more polite than East Coasters, but that actually Midwesterners and Southerners are hating you from behind a facade of hospitality while Noo Yoik and Bawston peeps are really just wearing their hearts in their sleeves and showing their true selves.

Football is like the Midwest and South. It's a game of hurt pretending to be about getting an inflated pigskin over a painted line. MMA doesn't pretend. It's the New York of sports.

Which is ironic as heck considering NY is the only state in which it's still not sanctioned.

Yup. As far as midwesterners go, "Minnesota nice" is just the facade, and all of our repressed emotions are squelched inside of it. They come out for football games and weekend bar hopping.

I will say, we don't have glass in front of our customer service people. It blew my mind when I heard KATG describe postal workers standing behind glass. Nobody stands behind glass here, not even bank tellers.

I was having all kinds of impure thoughts after listening to this show. Mainly about Keith and Robert wrestling in tinned spaghetti...

And Cathryn was refereeing in a purple unicorn onesy...and nothing else.

Before this episode I haven't really understood Robert Kelly's comedy. I've listened to his podcast "You Know What Dude" a few times. Obviously heard him when he was on KATG before. I always thought he just came off kind of mean and I just didn't get it.

But after this episode of KATG for some reason I just get it now. He may lash out and make things uncomfortable but he's willing to take it as well. Specifically Keith's "read" for Robert Kelly at the end of the show with Robert playing along and guiding Keith was what did it for me.

Robert had been funny then entire show but that advertising read had me in tears as Robert objected to some of Keith's promotional adlibs.

So great. I loved this episode. It was deeply disturbingly personal, extremely funny and full of quick witted retorts. It felt like half roast / half "What's My Name Show" and half MY Name Is Keith. That's right it was 1.5 of an episode. It was that good.

That prostitute chunk should be nominated for a KATGuh. I forget the categories but something like most ridiculous or biggest HA inducing moment. Something like that
