Hey Keith, I wouldn't get your hopes up for the new Ali G show. It's going to be reruns of the old series but with new intro's for each episode.

I agree so much with the breaking random objects in video games for items thing. I play some RPG games sometimes and spent probably 80% of the game going along the walls mashing buttons to find that one wall tile that's hiding the high tier armor. I'm the sort of person who would backtrack in a maze if I find the exit to get the items in the dead ends 'cause I want to collect all the items. I end up spending hours doing nothing but running along walls. It's not giving me any gameplay value. I'm not having fun running against walls. It would be different if I get an item for doing something absurdly difficult, but when a game gives a reward for being OCD, that's pretty fucked up.

They know what people do with their video games because you are connected to the internet which is a two way street. They know how many people play the game and how many have achievements for "finished campaign", plus whatever other data they collect from you without you knowing.

Generally I find FPS campaigns boring and mostly only play them for multiplayer. Same goes for every gamer I know, but then I met them all online. Also most FPS games that came out in the last year had their single player content heavily criticized as being largely crap.

Once you've played a lot against humans, fighting boring AI just doesn't cut it anymore. Since Halo2 came out 10 years ago I've played about 23000 games online of all the different Halo's so am one of the pricks slaughtering new players. Titanfall added in useless AI bots to the online so noobs have something easy to kill.

I'm sure you're all interested. My Halo stats on Halotracker: Halotracker User Page: Quibbles
