As far as "quiet" vacations go, I really love them. If you want to do the quiet/mind clearing type thing but don't want to deal with something like a formal/scheduled buddhist or yoga retreat type deal just go somewhere that you don't speak the primary language. Ideally you would do it that type of trip solo. You are kinda forced to be on your own but you can still function like a normal human being.

Chemda, if you're considering doing this, Quebec City would probably be the easiest place from NYC. It's a beautiful city too... so much that it doesn't seem like it belongs in North America.

I left a job I wasn't too crazy about last summer and immediately got on a plane headed for semi-rural Guatemala. I spent the entire month of July there. I don't speak a word of Spanish and even if it did I would have still run into problems because a lot of the locals speak some crazy indigenous Mayan language. Being on my own with no idea how to do something as simple as asking for a glass of water or the bathroom completely changed the way my mind worked. I couldn't do anything but be on my own. It's definitely one of my fav vacations.

Good luck Chemda and Danny on the planking challenge.

And count me in too.

I just joined a CrossFit box a few weeks ago because I’m a retard who makes bullshit decisions like joining a CrossFit box. Before every workout the CrossFit class is required to do a 90 second plank… But if I can get up to 5 minutes… that’s… that’s a toned core. Either that or planking for 5 minutes causes you to die from some horrific planking related injury where your body snaps in half. Guess we’ll all find out together!

And $600 bucks to boot! I don’t know who to wish more luck too Chemda or Danny… I guess Danny because I suppose if he lost he’d just be giving up a paycheck? (I assume.) But with that amount of money on the line I just figure someone will end up with a horse head in their bed. (I do realize it’s $20 bucks per day, so the potential total pot is only $600 if Chemda decided to make the wager and then do nothing. Still quite the incentive.)

I'll count you in. Every day you don't get it done you owe me $20.

Good luck. And congratulations on being counted in.

That’s not a bad idea. I actually have more than enough satoshis to do that.

Keith would have to have a bitcoin wallet address though.
