Keith, when you get your next phone, screw the case and budget for an extra $100 to get AppleCare.
The screen replacement wasn't too expensive, but you drop your phone in the toilet and that's all downhill. The only shit side to AppleCare is that you have to pay a $50 deductible, but you are in and out within no time at all. I wish I'd heard the episode sooner, and keep this in mind if you don't get AppleCare, but go to the store, with your lovely lady, and tell a story of owe about your phone, there is a chance (smaller thanks to apple care) that they'll comp you a fixed device. I dropped a can opener on my iPad 2 some years back (yeah, trust me I know) and the employee who helped me out replaced it for free. Would have cost $350 to replace the whole thing. And in case you are wondering about the durability, one thing to be aware of is the more durable they make the screen, the less responsive it is. Apple is testing out new glassware that may replace the current screen and be MUCH stronger. You also have to realize that Apple doesn't need to have their products break, the fact that Apple products are so solid is why they have such a big market share. Other than the iPad that I cracked, I've never had a device randomly break on me. The iPhone 4 I sold when the 5 came out was flawless, as is my wife's iPhone 4 that she's still using. They're not perfect, but I think you will find Apple is better than most in durability. |

TLDR I agree more with Chemdas side that the girl might really enjoy being submissive but I also think Keith is correct in thinking that she is absolutely not enjoying what is happening right now.
I would assume that she started with enjoying being dominated during sex, maybe thinking that using that to pay for college would be nice and thinking "well what could go wrong, nobody will recognize me". So maybe she planned to do just a few pornos, remain anonymous and then forget about that part of her life. Sorry but that is just dumb. As Sparrow said the internet is forever and college students are probably a big target group for porn and if somebody finds you they will tell, the world is not full of rainbows and unicorns. So now everybody knows she is "forced" / decided to make the most of it, she is probably filming much more and possibly more harsh scenes than she did before she was outed and I think this is where Keith is right in thinking that she no longer enjoys herself. |

1947: Belle of the Balls (Knox on Wood)
1) newer smartphones with fingerprint detection cost more as far as phone replacement due to the sensor and it's connections. The 5c costs less to repair on average than the 5s due to the sensor and almost nationwide, $250 is about average for a screen repair on a 5s. Same shit with the new Galaxy S5 as well so no, it's not just Apple, this is pretty much any newer device with fingerprint detection. It's only going to go up as the screen/glass size increases as well
2) Repairing the screen technically voids Apple's warranty. So I've seen both apple and Asurion (the insurance provider) deny an insurance claim when they confirm the glass was replaced. Be careful doing this! 3) I have had insurance on both our iPhones since AT&T offered it. Once again Chemda states her opinion as fact, but I would not say insurance on a device is stupid. If Keith had insurance, he would have paid $200 and received a brand new phone versus paying $250 to fix the screen and void the warranty anyway. Insurance covers loss theft water/liquid damage cracked screens and defect once the manufacturer's warranty expires. 4) not sure why it's so hard to research options before complaining about how much you spend. Shit until the end of the month some companies are having open insurance enrollment, all it takes is calling your provider. 5) I rather enjoy to hear how much money Keith can spend unnecessarily, the hours of entertainment alone from stories about this new iPhone have been worth it Edited to add: I deal with this everyday at work. Fuck me for working for these assholes in the first place right?

Also, I paid $160 and went right across the street. In NYC, $160 is less than $200 + the cost of insurance in the first place. Also add all the phones I've had over the years that I didn't pay insurance for. Quote:

Hey Keith,
It is THE WORST when your phone is broken. I'm sorry yours broke. It does seem like a scam that they are made so fragile. $160 for a repair sounds quite reasonable, especially if it's practically good as new. I fixed the screen on my phone for about $75. However, I fucked something up and the bluetooth no longer works, but at least I can shit like a human being. |

nah. i haven't worked a straight job since, so i'm speaking speculatively. it would absolutely affect my ability to work with kids here at home or get things politically moved and shook the way i need. i'm a short, young-looking liberal minded woman in a town run by rich, retired, white good old boys and their wives; it's hard enough to be taken seriously. i don't think my national work would suffer; my larger circles are very female sex positive. still. something like this in the hands of the tittering makes you "that" girl. people are petty.
