Mike Lawrence's party:
That's got to be difficult for Keith. But sometimes it's nice to know if you're "loud" according to other people. And those other people are relatively decent friends. While it wasn't cool for Mike to call you out in front of others, maybe it was going on for a while and he finally said something, or maybe he personally doesn't like that level of boisterous or the way it was being done. A fun party setting doesn't necessarily excuse your behaviour if the host doesn't like it. It's pretty much up to them what flies. That being said, I'm sure Keith will be invited to more parties and it'll all be fine in a week or two. It's not a huge deal. |

i don't think Keith was hurt at all. does he possess empathy and a sincere want to not offend his buddy mike 'the man child/ child molester beard' lawrence? yes.
i once went to a dear friend's house warming bonfire. I had a vile of liquid oxycontin, (which is kind of like having an oral heroin) and brought along a bottle of booze. long story short, I nearly burned his house down, made out/ nearly fucked his wife in hot tub, and was arrested naked, (completely out of my mind) in a neighbor's front yard... i still have weird dreams of the incident. the guy who called police was nice enough not to press charges. apparently i tried going into his house. i ended up with a count of trespassing from the judge. is keet bad at parties? not in this fans book. |

I really don't know how I feel about the Colbert announcement. I love Stephen Colbert but I don't love late night TV. I think the format will neuter his comedic skill and his appeal will suffer accordingly. Colbert's genius is in The Report and that's where he should stay.

i'm want to agree with you Dean. i'm really not into late night celebrity interviews. it's fluff. a network move is…bigger (?), but the colbert nation is a huge thing. he has a voice i think is important. this kind of satire is important right now. he ran for office as a joke, but how many kids out there saw that and thought, shit, they could do it, too.

I almost hope that he'll transplant the Report into the Late Show and kinda reimagine the format but I can't see how he'll be allowed to. Nah...the more I think about it, the more disappointed I am in the decision.

I like to get into a tv event just like Keith. I lost friends over it while watching BattleStar Galactica (yes, I know I'm a nerd, we have friends too). Every time Mike pulled out a "calm down" would have killed a bit of the bouncy boy inside of me.
Like Keith said, it's a shame. It probably wouldn't hurt to talk to Mike about it, and it might make you feel better. |

This party gear reminds me of the Twitter female football fan who was surprised when Keith smack-talked her. If I invited Keith to my Wrestlemania party, I'd expect nothing less.
