There's stuff there, in the past. Just pick an archive month at random, about three or four years ago, and you'll see evidence of written words. Usually a paragraph or two. But I don't remember anything long enough to be called an article, or substantial enough to garner much financial reward from any products reviewed on a tumblr blog under one's own name.

Two of the funniest and well-told stories on KaTG that have stuck in my mind are Jesse Joyce's tale of his accidentally Kayser Soze-like ice-balling an old man and knocking him over, and Patrice's interactions with a hairdresser who did something unsolicited to her hair.

Until this last pair of shows I was hoping to be able to characterise her as a rogue, but possibly a lovable one - like amongst the great literary figures. But all that money from friends ... Jeez.

This, I threw her a couple of bucks after enjoying the cringe worthy hilarious tales of a thanksgiving Live-Blog event, I feel like I got something for my $ so I'm at peace with that.

I also met up with her and 3 rando's once while she was car pooling to SXSW in some sponsored deal with chevy. I saw the car it had some number of logo's on it that made it plausible enough. We had some good BBQ here in Memphis, I offered to pay and she refused my $ as they were on expense from whatever deal that was.

The vehicle had Chevy promo stuff all over it and FourSquare check in on the vehicle QR tag Window cling stickers on it. Chevy or not it was something.

It was the week of SXSW and it's a plausible path to Austin through Memphis, not sure what else to say. just my $0.02 on this situation, I guess $20.02 if you include the 'donation' to her.

I feel like fan donations to Patrice are a different category than stealing from her "friends."

If you paid her for work never delivered, or "loaned" her money that she obviously never planned to pay back, that was fraud and stealing. If you threw her a few bucks via PayPal, that was a donation to a podcast guest you liked at the time.
